Privacy policy

Receipt Photos for POS helps Shopify merchants attach photos of unique items to point-of-sale orders and customer email receipts. This policy explains the limited information the app processes to provide that service.

Information processed

• Shop identity, app installation sessions, and authorized staff details supplied by Shopify.
• Plan, trial, and Flexi Pass activation information used to provide access and billing.
• Order identifiers, photo URLs, and Shopify File identifiers needed to attach photos to an order.

The app does not request or process customer payment-card information. It does not intentionally collect customer contact details.

Photo storage

Photos are uploaded to the merchant’s Shopify Files and linked to the relevant Shopify order. The app does not retain separate copies of those photos in its own database. Merchants control the files through Shopify.

How information is used

Information is used only to authenticate the merchant, provide the app’s receipt-photo workflow, maintain plan access, prevent duplicate Flexi Pass charges, troubleshoot errors, and comply with legal obligations.

Service providers

Shopify processes commerce, order, file, and billing data. Render hosts the app service and its database. Information is shared only as needed to operate the app or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

App session and billing-access records are deleted when a store uninstalls the app or when Shopify sends a valid deletion request. Photos already stored in Shopify Files remain under the merchant’s control and can be removed from Shopify by the merchant.

Your choices

Merchants can uninstall the app at any time, turn Flexi Pass automatic activation off, and manage stored photos in Shopify. Privacy requests can be sent to gowei@me.com.
